Thn’s Top Five 3Diculously Great Films!

To celebrate the release of Stalingrad, the first war film shot completely in 3D, we’ve taken a look through some of our favourites!

Dredd 3D (2012) dir. Pete Travis

One of the stand-out 3D films has to be Dredd. The film which, in a way, is a reboot, stars Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey. The film feels like Robocop mixed with The Raid, and is full of blood, guts and grit, something which was sorely lacking in Sylvester Stallone’s camp nineties outing. Although the film didn’t receive a particularly high box-office (though it’s worth remembering that it was an 18 and therefore a lot of potential audience is lost), the film has come into it’s own since it’s home entertainment release.
