She’s had the success of “Short Term 12,” which put her on the map as a serious actress (one which many suggested was Oscar-worthy), and she showed her supporting mettle in “21 Jump Street” and “The Spectacular Now” plus a recent successful turn on “Community” (see the image above). And now actress Brie Larson is moving up the ranks and will join Judd Apatow’s next film, “Trainwreck.” Already starring relatively unknown comedian Amy Schumer and Bill Hader, while plot details are under wraps, perhaps the most interesting thing about "Trainwreck" is that unlike his previous two pictures, "Funny People" and "This Is 40,” the picture wasn’t self-generated and launched from Apatow’s post-40s neuroses of mortality and the fragility of long-term relationships.
