After the death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman from an apparent drug overdose on Sunday (Feb. 2), many celebrities offered their condolences to his family and friends, while remembering some of his most memorable roles. Former "X Factor" judge Demi Lovato was one of those sharing words in tribute to Hoffman, but she also used the moment to address drug addiction.

"I wish more people would lose the stigma and treat addiction as the deadly and serious Disease that it is," she writes in a long tweet. "Drugs are not something to glamorize in pop music or film to portray as harmless recreational fun. It's not cute, 'cool' or admire able [sic]."
