Now that he's not tied to the hellish schedule of Saturday Night Live, Bill Hader has a lot more freedom to start taking on parts on new and interesting projects. He's been mixing it up on the big screen recently thanks to his voice performances in the Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs movies, and even just earned rave reviews for his more serious turn in the Sundance drama The Skeleton Twins (which has been picked up by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions), but for his first big post-SNL film it looks like Hader will be starring alongside comedienne Amy Schumer in the new comedy Trainwreck. Judd Apatow is directing the film based on a screenplay that Schumer wrote herself, but unfortunately Variety's casting story doesn't mention what role Hader might be playing in the story.
