Ever since the horrific Boston Bombing case that killed three people and injured more than 260 others, the world has anxiously waited to hear the charges against Dzhokhar.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 20, faces 30 federal charges for setting off the bombs on April 15 with his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, who was killed in a firefight with police. On Jan. 30, Us Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. decided that the death penalty will be sought out.

“After consideration of the relevant facts, the applicable regulations and the submissions made by the defendant’s counsel, I have determined that the United States will seek the death penalty in this matter. The nature of the conduct at issue and the resultant harm compel this decision,” the Attorney General said in a statement.
