On a recent episode of Good Luck Charlie, the Disney Channel introduced the network’s first same-sex couple.

'Good Luck Charlie' Episode Features Lesbian Moms

In the episode, Charlie has a playdate with her preschool pal named Taylor. Before Taylor arrives, Amy (Leigh-Allyn Baker) informs Bob (Eric Allan Kramer) that her parents are going to be sticking around as well. Both believe they’ve met her mother – though Amy remembers her name as Susan, while Bob believes it’s Cheryl.

When the doorbell rings and Susan and Cheryl casually introduce themselves as Taylor’s parents, Bob says, “Oh, Taylor has two moms.” Chiding her husband, Amy replies, “Nothing gets past you, Bob.” And then the foursome gathers around the living room and carry on with the playdate. It’s no big deal.
