With writer/director Quentin Tarantino suggesting only months ago that his next project which will see him return to the “wild west” for another revisionist history lesson, some early details are beginning to take shape.

First of all, his current working title for the project is said to be the cool-as-hell sounding The Hateful Eight, which perhaps hints at something akin to Sam Peckinpah’s ultra-violent classic The Wild Bunch. With his most recent film, Django Unchained, seeing him reunite with his Inglorious Basterds Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz for another Academy Award-winning performance, it’s no surprise he’s looking for hook with the Austrian actor for a third time.
