In October, news came out that Jon M. Chu ("G.I. Joe: Retailiation") was no longer attached to direct Columbia’s live-action reboot of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. A couple weeks ago, Jon M. Chu explained that he left the project due to his commitment to the third live-action G.I. Joe film, which he will be directing for Paramount. Now, the website, schmoesknow.com, is reporting that their source has a list of directors that are in the running for the gig, and a few will certainly surprise. Take a look. The names are pretty stellar in the Sci-Fi world and are as follows: Joe Cornish (Attack The Block), Rian Johnson (Looper), Andy Muschietti (Mama), Kirk DeMicco & Chris Sanders (The Croods) and Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street).
