It's been a while since we've heard anything solid from the Star Wars casting front. Today, The Wrap kicked off what is sure to be a busy year of casting announcements with word that Breaking Bad and Friday Night Lights star Jesse Plemons is in final talks for a lead role in Star Wars: Episode VII. The site reports that Plemons has already gone through one audition process and is set to fly into L.A. to meet with director J.J. Abrams. Though who exactly Plemons would play in the sequel wasn't revealed, it is very much possible that he could be playing a younger version of Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker character.
