Although no release date has been set yet, it looks like Woody Allen’s Magic In The Moonlight is well on its way to cinemas.

Starring Colin Firth (The Railway Man), Emma Stone (The Amazing Spider-man), Marcia Gay Harden (Parkland), Hamish Linklater (The Newsroom), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Eileen Atkins (Doc Martin) and Simon McBurney (The Borgias), the film focuses on an Englishman based in 1920s France who has to uncover a swindle, leading him into murky waters. Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all North American rights to Woody Allen’s upcoming film, Magic In The Moonlight from Gravier Productions.  Like Blue Jasmine, the film is produced by Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson. The film was shot by Darius Khondji (Midnight In Paris) with Production Design by Anne Seibel (Midnight In Paris).
