With Jane Campion named as the jury president for 67th Cannes Film Festival earlier this week, so begins the forward look to the events on the Croisette in May. While the lineup is still a long way off from begin announced, if we were betting men, we'd put a good wager on David Cronenberg's "Maps To The Stars". Now, there's an indication that a cut of the movie is finished. In their weekly update of recently announced MPAA ratnigs, Rope Of Silicon reveal that "Maps To The Stars" has shockingly been given an R-rating for strong disturbing violence and sexual content, graphic nudity, language and some drug material." In a Cronenberg, movie? No way!  Starring John Cusack, Julianne Moore, Mia WasikowskaRobert PattinsonOlivia Williams and Sarah Gadon, the Bruce Wagner penned movie is vicious look at a twisted Hollywood dynasty, in what is said to be a satire/takedown of the industry. »
