With the success of 2011's franchise revival of 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' it seems obvious, especially to 20th Century Fox, that the upcoming Matt Reeves helmed sequel 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' will also be pulling in the big bucks. So much so that the studio is already looking towards the third installment and has secured Reeves for further directorial duties. The yet untitled threequel will see Reeves helm and co-write alongside 'Dawn' co-scribe Mark Bomback. Deadline are also reporting that the studio will see the project as a priority going forward.
