Cloverfield’s” Matt Reeves took over directing duties on the sequel to Fox’s “Planet of the Apes” reboot last year when original director Rupert Wyatt bailed, and it looks like the director will remain onboard, with the trades reporting that he’s has already signed on to helm the third movie even before the sequel opens. The sequel opens this July 11th, and finds humanity on the verge of extinction under the smart ape assault. It stars Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Kodi Smit-McPhee, with Andy Serkis once again playing smartest ape Caesar. »
