Downton Abbey returned to American shores on Sunday, Jan. 5 with its season four premeire and fans were left … well, it was a mixed bag of reactions. Many took to Twitter heralding the return of their beloved period drama starring Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville and Michelle Dockery, but there were quite a few who were left wanting more from the two-hour premiere. Warning, spoilers ahead. In the two-hour premiere, Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) hired a new lady's maid and fired the nanny.
