With DC/Warner Bros. currently using the Man of Steel sequel to set up a Justice League movie and other future film properties, Arrow star Stephen Amell wants his show to be connected to the overall DC film universe.

 

The tentatively titled Batman vs. Superman is not only introducing a new Batman in the form of Ben Affleck, it is also giving us cinematic versions of Wonder Woman, the Flash and Nightwing (the last two only rumored so far).   DC/Warner Bros. is planning to eventually expand their cinema-verse Marvel style, with lots of different franchises connecting to each other. Stephen Amell wants Arrow to be part of that.

Amell, who is currently filming the second season of Arrow, thinks that his show could fit into the larger DC film universe, the way Agents of Shield fits into the Marvel universe. In the weekly ‘Quiver’ podcast, Amell says of the »
