With 2013 winding down, HBO is taking the opportunity to offer a preview of the pay cable channel’s January 2014 offerings by way of a trio of new trailers and a new featurette.  Briefly: Girls – The new trailer for Lena Dunham’s comedy series gives an extended look at the show’s third season, and unsurprisingly the standout is Zosia Mamet’s Shoshanna.  Season three kicks off on HBO January 12th. Looking – The full-length trailer for HBO new drama/comedy series finally delves a bit into the show’s plot, as the series follows three friends in San Francisco who explore the fun and sometimes overwhelming options available to a new generation of gay men.  Jonathan Groff and Scott Bakula star.  The half-hour series premieres on HBO January 19th. True Detective – Early word on the network’s upcoming anthology series has been incredibly positive, and this new trailer and 12-minute featurette »
