The 2014 Golden Globe nominations have been announced with quite a few surprises and, as always, some serious snubs!

It was a good morning for "12 Years a Slave" and "American Hustle," who each earned seven nominations - also a very good indicator that Oscar nominations could follow.

On the TV side, Emmy favorite "Breaking Bad" scored three nods, while "House of Cards" and the HBO movie "Behind the Candelabra" topped the small screen categories with four nominations apiece.
