Now that they've decided on a title, it seems that casting is kicking off on the upcoming Terminator reboot, now officially known as Terminator: Genesis. According to reports, Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty, The Great Gatsby and the upcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) is in final negotiations for the role of John Connor, the leader of the Resistance.

At this point, it's unknown how big of a role John Connor will have in the reboot, with previous reports suggesting that the film will focus on Sarah Connor, with Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke said to be the front-runner to take over from Linda Hamilton (and fellow GoT star Lena Headey), but still facing some competition from Brie Larson (Short Term 12).
