Last year, Eddie Murphy was named the most overpaid actor in Hollywood, but he's now passed on the crown to another "comic talent" in Adam Sandler, thanks in no small part to a disastrous double bill of That's My Boy and Jack & Jill.

According to Forbes, for every dollar that Sandler has been paid on his last three live-action movies (not including Grown Ups 2, which was released after the list was compiled), the studios received a return of $3.40. Katherine Heigl retained second place with an average return-on-investment of $3.50, followed by Reese Witherspoon in third with $3.90.

Here's the full top ten (or should that be bottom ten?)....

Adam Sandler - $3.40

Katherine Heigl - $3.50

Reese Witherspoon - $3.90

Nicolas Cage - $6.00

Kevin James - $6.10

Denzel Washington - $8.30

Steve Carell - $10.00

Jennifer Aniston - $10.10

Matt Damon - $10.60

Ryan Reynolds - $10.70 »
