A significant shake-up in the top spot highlighted an otherwise slow box office weekend.

In at number 1 is Disney Animation’s Frozen with $31 million. Although the film opened in the number 2 spot last weekend, Frozen was able to leapfrog the reigning box office king thanks to a record-breaking post-Thanksgiving performance. Now at $134 million, Frozen is well on its way to becoming Disney Animation’s highest grossing film ever.
