An unofficial tribute to actor Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas drew thousands of people Sunday afternoon to the street where the two died in a car crash Nov. 30.
Nearly 8,000 fans responded to a Facebook invite for memorial gathering in honor of Walker and Rodas, so roads surrounding the event in Santa Clarita, Calif. were packed with cars, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff.
The tribute was widely disseminated via social media, and the slogan “Race in Peace” was coined to remember the late actor.
