According to Comic Book Movie, director Joss Whedon will be linking up with a new cinematographer when production gets underway on The Avengers: Age of Ultron early in the New Year, with British director of photography Ben Davis set to replace The Avengers' Seamus McGarvey for the hotly-anticipated sequel.

Davis has recently finished shooting another Marvel project, the James Gunn-helmed Guardians of the Galaxy, while his previous credits include the Matthew Vaughn-directed Layer Cake, Stardust and Kick-Ass, as well as the likes of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Wrath of the Titans and Seven Psychopaths.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for release on May 2nd 2015, with a cast that includes Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Samuel L.
