Disney's animated musical adventure Frozen, which Digital Spy has described as "a new Disney classic", finally reaches UK cinemas today.

Digital Spy caught up with the all-star cast of Broadway alumni, including Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff, to discuss the voice acting process and the collaborative approach taken by co-directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee.

"Anna was written much differently in the script - more regular, I guess," Bell explained of her character, a plucky young woman who sets out to bring home her banished magical sister Elsa (Menzel) after the latter is exiled.

"I was desperate to infuse her with all these awkward qualities that I had as a little girl, or that I have currently as an adult... I thought, she should talk too much and talk too fast and talk to herself and trip, and be awkward, and wake up with a snort, like I do! »
