Just like Maria von Trapp, Carrie doesn’t pay attention to what anyone else thinks! The reviews of Carrie’s ‘Sound of Music Live’ performance may be mixed, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t proud of herself — and defended herself and the cast on Twitter!

Carrie Underwood took a huge risk when she starred in a live televised production of The Sound of Music alongside True Blood’s Stephen Moyer. Trying to remake a movie as widely-loved as the Julie Andrews classic was bound to be met with criticism — even from an original cast member — but she declared that she “couldn’t be more proud” of what she had accomplished.
