Unlike many of Paul Walker’s Fast & Furious co-stars, who’d worked with and known the late actor for over a decade, Luke Evans was a newcomer to the game. He joined the franchise at the sixth movie — an intimidating prospect for anyone.

But Walker wasn’t about to make him feel like an outsider.

“He was always very warm to me and always made me feel like I was part of the family, which he didn’t have to do,” Evans told EW while promoting The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. “But that’s him. He was a very warm man. »
