As part of its most recent "Ask Ausiello" spoilers column, TVLine shed a bit of light on the upcoming Season 2 of "Hannibal," including when we'll next see fan favorite Gillian Anderson on the show...

Per the site, we won't have to wait long as Anderson will be back as Hannibal Lecter's (Mads Mikkelsen) shrink, Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier, in the first two episodes.

Joining her this season are the already announced guest stars Martin Donovan ("Weeds") as Jack Crawford's (Laurence Fishburne) FBI shrink while Cynthia Nixon ("Sex and the City") will appear as Kade Purnell, an employee of the Office of the Inspector General in FBI Oversight who will be putting Jack under a microscope for his involvement with recent events involving Will (Hugh Dancy).

Speaking of Fishburne, TVLine confirmed that while he has signed on to an HBO project that's in its early stages, it will have no impact on his Season 2 "Hannibal" schedule. »
