With the New York Film Critics Circle nearly finished with the vote for its annual round of awards, the lead acting awards have gone to Robert Redford for “All is Lost” and Cate Blanchett for “Blue Jasmine.”

American Hustle” has picked up two kudos including supporting actress for Jennifer Lawrence and screenplay for David O. Russell and Eric Warren Singer. “12 Years a Slave,” the title that dominated the Gotham Awards nominations but walked away with no trophies from Monday night’s ceremony, scored the Nyfcc laurel for director Steve McQueen while Jared Leto snagged the supporting actor title for “Dallas Buyers Club.”

Fruitvale Station,” which picked up two prizes at the Gotham Awards, rode the momentum to win best first film, while “Blue is the Warmest Color” scored foreign film, “The Wind Rises” took the animated trophy and “Stories We Tell” won for documentary.
