It was a sports ending like out of a movie. The one-loss Auburn Tigers defeated the so-far undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide on a last-second missed field goal returned for a touchdown -- returned 109 yards.
The score was tied 28-28 with mere seconds to go and Alabama was attempting a 56-yard field goal to win the game. But they missed and instead, Auburn ran the ball back to win 34-28.
Auburn now heads to the SEC Championship game next Saturday, Dec. 7, where they will play either the Missouri Tigers or the South Carolina Gamecocks, depending on the outcome of their respective games today. And it looks like Alabama will not three-peat on its National Championship title.
What did you think of the wild finish?
