While we haven't heard much from either of the winners of Fox's U.S. version of "The X Factor," the show's biggest success story is the Simon Cowell-fabricated girl group Fifth Harmony. Think of them as a female, American One Direction: happy, hummable pop music in an adorable package.

After performing on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 28, the girls -- Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, and Camila Cabello -- will embark on a mini-tour of radio station Jingle Ball concerts before opening for "X Factor" judge Demi Lovato on her 2014 "Neon Lights" arena tour, along with former tourmate Cher Lloyd and fellow girl group Little Mix.

Zap2it caught up with the girls backstage after their recent return to "The X Factor" (this time as guest performers, not contestants), and they said the transition from reality show competitors to legit artists has been a surreal one. »
