Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher, the technology journalists who founded AllThingsD, have enlisted support for their new venture from NBCUniversal, which will take a minority stake, an individual with knowledge of the negotiations told TheWrap. Both Swisher and NBCUniversal declined to comment on the impending deal. Mossberg and Swisher founded AllThingsD in 2007 after staging several successful conferences of the same name. The company now stages several conferences each year, but the flagship conference has long attracted the biggest names in tech and media.
