Update: In the updated national estimates released Friday afternoon by Nielsen, “The Big Bang Theory” edged up to a 5.3 demo ratings and 18.94 million total viewers — its best demo score since its season premiere. In other good news for CBS, both “The Millers” (2.8) and “Crazy Ones” (2.2) held onto all of their preliminary averages, with the former hitting a five-week high and the latter a four-week high. ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” rounded up to a 2.6 in 18-49, matching last week.

Fox’s shows came down a bit in the nationals as expected: “X Factor” (1.5/4 in 18-49, 5.53m) was still up vs. last week, while “Glee” (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.09m) matched its week-ago score. CW’s “Vampire Diaries” (1.3/4 in 18-49, 2.67m) didn’t budge from its morning demo score, while “Reign” dropped (0.7/2 in 18-49, 1.81m) but was still on par with last week.

CW noted that it edged out NBC head-to-head in 18-49 (0.97 to 0.95), a network first. »
