Fox’s Tuesday comedy block is getting a midseason makeover, with “Glee” moving over from Thursday and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” getting a promotion behind “New Girl.”

The net on Thursday also announced other midseason sked changes, including relaunching “The Following” as a two-night event, similar to the way it recently introduced “Almost Human.”

“Following,” last season’s top-rated new series in adults 18-49, will kick off its second season at about 10 p.m. Et on Jan. 19, following Fox Sports’ coverage of the Nfc Championship Game. The Kevin Bacon drama will then slide into its regular Monday 9 p.m. timeslot the next day.

Fox had originally planned for new Greg Kinnear drama “Rake” to air behind the Nfc title game, but ultimately decided it was better suited to premiere behind “American Idol,” while the male skew of football will help reintroduce audiences to the serial-killer drama “The Following.”
