We told you recently that comics publisher Idw had created a production company to develop projects based on their comics. Today they announced one of those projects, and it sounds like it could be pretty great. It’s a TV series based on actor Michael Chiklis‘s (No Ordinary Family, The Shield) comic series Pantheon, about Greek gods in the modern day:

The Story of Greek Gods Resurfacing In Present Day

San Diego, CA (November 21, 2013) – Michael Chiklis has joined forces with Idw Entertainment to develop and produce his comic series Pantheon as a new scripted live-action television series. Idw Entertainment will fund the development of the project and will be co-produced with Circle of Confusion.

While the story of Pantheon is under wraps, it involves Greek Gods returning to the present day.
