It's no secret that being named People's Sexiest Man Alive is a terrific way to pick up women, which is why "The Voice" host Carson Daly thinks 2013's honoree, Adam Levine, would've been better served by the title if he was single. (Although, if you've earned the distinction, you likely didn't have much trouble in that department to begin with.)

Zap2it spoke with Daly backstage at the hit NBC singing competition on Tuesday (Nov. 19), just after he officially revealed his pal's cover on live TV. When asked what benefits he thought Levine's title would afford him, the host answered, "If he could've had this honor five years ago, when he wasn't engaged, it might have been a better card to play, right? Any of us would've appreciated that when you're single, but you get it when you're married, you're like, 'Thanks a lot!' Long overdue, though. Sorry, Hugh Jackman. »
