‘Monday Night Football,’ ‘Voice’ Top Monday While ‘Almost Human’ Drops

Update: In time zone-adjusted fast nationals from Nielsen, Fox’s “Almost Human” edged up to a 2.3 in adults 18-49 and 6.8 million viewers overall. As a result, its regular-timeslot premiere came in 15% above the 2.0 that “Bones” had delivered the previous two weeks.

Fox’s “Almost Human” came down in the ratings as expected as it shifted to its regular timeslot Monday, but still outperformed the recent deliveries of “Bones” in the hour. NBC, meanwhile, beat its rivals in key demos even without “The Blacklist,” as a special recap of “The Voice” and the regular two-hour performance show kept the net on top.

Espn’s “Monday Night Football” was a strong player on the night and was expected to dominate in key demos as well as total viewers. The New England-Carolina matchup earned an 11.2 overnight household rating in Nielsen’s metered markets, making it the top-rated “Mnf” game of the TV season.
