As was widely anticipated, the release date of the much-hyped Fifty Shades of Grey movie has been pushed back several months from its originally planned debut in August 2014, to the Valentine's Day weekend in 2015.
The announcement by producing studio Universal follows weeks of turmoil after Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam dropped out of the key role of billionaire businessman Christian Grey. Hunnam was swiftly replaced The Fall's Jamie Dornan, and the shoot itself was delayed, leading to intense speculation that the summer release deadline would prove too burdensome for the film-makers.
