We reported last week that the Entourage movie is finally starting to build up momentum. All the key male actors from the original television series have put pen to paper and signed their contracts for the film which is to be directed by creator Doug Ellin. The series ran for an impressive eight seasons and had one very famous fan in the shape of American President, Barack Obama.

For the uninitiated, Entourage followed fictitious actor Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) as he rose from nobody to superstar and dealt with the pitfalls of fame along the way. The brilliant thing about Entourage, other than it essentially being a Sex and the City for men, was all the amazing cameos that popped up. The series was pretty much a ‘who’s who’ of Hollywood, with stars such as show producer Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Alba, Malin Ackerman, Gary Busey, Val Kilmer, and the late Dennis Hopper making appearances. »
