Comic Artie Lange has gone to hell and back with addiction and drinking issues. But during an interview on Ktla this morning, he tells host journalist Steve Edwards it was an act of kindness from Bruce Springsteen who also helped him recover. "It was once of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me," said Lange, who walks the straight path now. "I'm in great shape except that I could lose a few pounds." Lange recounted how Springsten called his mother to arrange a meeting with Lange, who was home trying to remain sober.
