Jason Bateman to Direct and Star in 'Family Fang' with Nicole Kidman

The 2013 Toronto Film Festival premiered Bad Words, the directorial debut of "Arrested Development" and Horrible Bosses star Jason Bateman, and he's already lining up his sophomore effort behind the camera. Deadline reports Bateman has been tapped to direct an adaptation of The Family Fang, Kevin Wilson's book of the same name. Nicole Kidman has been attached to produce and star in the film for awhile, and she's given her seal of approval for Bateman to not only direct, but co-star in the film as well. Qed International is financing the film with the hopes of production starting early in 2014. What's the story?
