We weren't big fans of the 1978 version of I Spit On Your Grave, so the remake was a welcome surprise when it rammed a shotgun up our assets in 2010. It did alright for itself too, and more to the point, a friend of mine claims that it's the best movie ever made. He's not a close friend. A sequel was somewhat inevitable, and Steven R. Monroe returns to helm the second film in the series, but that's where the similarities end. None of the original characters return, which is hardly surprising really, most of them died a horrible death in part one. The star of the show is Katie (Jemma Dallender), a beautiful girl living alone in New York, trying to make a living in the cutthroat world of modelling. When Katie accepts an offer to have free photos taken for her portfolio, the experience turns into an unimaginable nightmare. »
