Our second 2-part episode from The Legend of Korra season 2 airs Friday night, and it looks like we’ll be in for a bit of an origin story.

At the end of “The Sting,” Korra washed up on shore, apparently suffering from memory loss after her battle with the spirit monster. Thankfully, Unalaq and his wacky children both think that Korra is dead. So, perhaps, Korra can recover in time before Unalaq has a chance to unleash whatever wild scheme he’s up to.

As far as schemes go, I’m still curious to know what Varrick’s involvement in this whole civil war is? Is it purely financial? He’s played an interesting gambit since leaving the Southern Water Tribe, apparently staging a bombing in Republic City and now taking a controlling share in Asami’s family business. Varrick has also setup Bolin as the moving picture hero, Nuktuk. »
