Mark your calendars: In conjunction with the 75th anniversary of the famous 1938 radio broadcast of "The War of the Worlds," PBS series "American Experience" will be airing a documentary special on Tuesday, October 29th at 9pm about the legendary, panic-inducing performance from "The Mercury Theatre on the Air," directed by a 23-year-old Orson Welles. We've got an exclusive clip from the doc, which is entitled "War of the Worlds," featuring Peter Bogdanovich talking about a particular moment of genius in the broadcast and why Welles was "the greatest director of radio, and the most innovative."
