The Season 1 finale of "Revolution" brought the world's power back on. The opening moments of Season 2, however, reveal that the fix was far from permanent.

As creator Eric Kripke told fans at Comic-Con in July, the lights go back off rather quickly -- though not quickly enough to save Philadelphia and Atlanta, the two cities Flynn (Colm Feore) targeted with his nuclear missiles. The devastation in those two cities is discussed more than seen in the first two episodes, but based on what is said, it's every bit as bad as you might imagine.

So, on that cheerful note, here are some of the other things you can look forward to seeing when "Revolution" returns at 8 p.m. Et Wednesday (Sept. 25) with an episode titled "Born in the USA."
