It’s been 12 years since the last installment of ‘Jurassic Park’ hit theaters, and now the much-anticipated fourth movie, ‘Jurassic World’ has a release date — and we’re roaring with excitement.

Jurassic Park is about to rock your world — for the fourth time. On Sept. 11, Universal Pictures announced that the next part of the dinosaur franchise will hit theaters June 12, 2015.

‘Jurassic World’ To Be Released In 2015

It’s a good day for Jurassic Park fans. Colin Trevorrow will direct the fourth action-adventure — to be shot in 3-D — from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly.

The first three films brought in a whopping $1.9 billion, and the April 2013 re-release of the original Jurassic Park in 3-D, brought in $114 million!

So, the team involved is hoping that this installment will be just as action-packed as the past three. The original took home three Academy Awards, and the second, The Lost World, was nominated for one. »
