New Delhi, Sep 11: The third edition of the India Film Project, which gives budding filmmakers a platform to showcase their work, will be held Sep 20-28 in Ahmedabad. Filmmakers like Tigmanshu Dhulia, Nikhil Advani and Bejoy Nambiar are on the jury this year.

The festival gives budding filmmakers a chance to make their own films in a period of 48 hours on a common theme. They can shoot their films in their own cities and can upload them online. The festival will be accepting international entries as well.

Advani, known for films like "Kal Ho Naa Ho" and "Delhi Safari" believes such platforms will help in the right growth. »
