Kendrick’s character was put into question when he called out the names of rappers in a unprecedented way in his new song “Control” with Big Sean. But finally, the fierce young Mc explained the meaning of his vicious verse.

Kendrick Lamar has finally explained his verse on Big Sean’s new song, “Control,” which was released on Aug. 12. The much-hyped rap seemed to imply that the 5’6″ rapper viewed himself as the best thing hip-hop has ever seen and that he is trying to murder his competition (figuratively of course) so fans won’t remember them. Yikes! But was the harsh rap nothing more than a little friendly fire?
