Believe it or not, Elvis Presley died 36 years ago today. The King passed away at his Graceland home on Aug. 16, 1977 at the age of 42. Although the legendary singer is no longer with us, Presley's legacy definitely lives on through his fans, his family (daughter Lisa Marie Presley and granddaughter Riley Keough) and in entertainment. Many actors have paid tribute to Presley by playing him in TV and film. Jack White portrayed the icon in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Jonathan Rhys Meyers channeled Presley in the TV movie Elvis.
