Sony's PS4 video recording function won't require Ps Plus subscriptions, unlike Microsoft's option...
It was recently revealed that the Xbox One's DVR functionality will require an gold Xbox Live membership in order to be used. Gamers with a silver membership won't be able to make use of the video recording functions of the unit.
Flying in the face of this, Sony has confirmed, via Twitter, that the PS4 will have no such limitation, and the video recording will be available to everyone.
When asked if the video recording will require a Ps Plus subscription, Sony Worldwide Studios president, Shuhei Yoshida, simply replied, “No.”
