Last week, there were many rumors going around that WB and Zack Snyder were searching for a much older Batman, similar to the Batman in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight, with names such as Josh Brolin, John Hamm and Karl Urban being tossed around as being considered to the titular role. Today, Superman Homepage has claimed that their sources at WB deny these rumors! Superman Homepage claims that WB is no where near the casting process. Here's an excerpt from the actual article: "There's been a lot of self-congratulatory back-patting going on between Batman fan sites and movie rumor sites of late, with casting rumors being touted as "news exclusives". Claims are being made that Warner Bros. are looking for a more mature actor to play an older, experienced Batman, with names like Josh Brolin and Jim Caviezel being thrown up.
