July 2013 was an incredibly interesting month to watch unfold at the box office. Despicable Me 2 conquered The Lone Ranger at the month’s start, and then it did it again in week 2 by conquering newcomer Pacific Rim. Warner Bros.’ low-budget horror, The Conjuring, triumphed over DreamWorks’ Turbo and Universal’s R.I.P.D. And fortunately, The Wolverine didn’t suffer a similar fate, topping the box office as predicted at the weekend. We continued to be faced with another impressive array of choices as we head into August. So in an effort to help make those choices a little easier, here are the top 10 must-see movies of the month.
